A workshop on sustainable maize nutrient management on high-yielding maize organized by IPNI China program was held in Zhengzhou of Henan province on September 10-11. About 50 cooperators from Northcentral and Northeast participated and presented their results obtained in the past 2-3 years. Dr. Adrian Johnston, Vice President of IPNI, gave a presentation entitled "Nutrient Management and High Yields:“A Balancing Act”". Dr. Ping He, Deputy Director of IPNI China program gave a presentation on maize nutrient management strategy, and she also gave an introduction about idea and progress of IPNI maize working group. Finally, Dr. Jiyun Jin, Director of IPNI China program gave a summary presentation about this meeting.
